Sibelius Finland Experience
Kämp Hotel 27, June 2016
Sibelius Finland Experience is a high-class audiovisual experience (duration approx. 1 hour). The presenter of the performance will explain the meaning and background of Sibelius’s music so that the visitors can enjoy and experience it in an entirely new way. Sibelius’s pieces The Spruce, Finlandia, Romance, Rondino and Valse Triste with the grand piano and violin will be performed by top musicians. As the music plays, a collage of pictures of nature and Erik Bruun’s graphic art, illustrating Finland and Finnishness, will be shown in the background.
Visitors will receive a gift of a CD album with eight pages, designed by Erik Bruun. On the Sibelius Finland Experience CD, the pianist duo Erik T. Tawaststjerna and Hui-Ying Liu perform the same pieces by Sibelius. After the concert visitors will have an opportunity to talk with the musicians and non-alcoholic drinks will be served.
