Imprimo Art Collection

Where art comes to life

Hotel Kämp has a long and proud tradition of art and culture, with some of the most important encounters in Finnish history taking place within its walls. As part of our celebration of the important role the hotel has played in the Finnish art scene, we have now acquired the Imprimo Collection, a showcase of the breathtaking diversity of Finnish contemporary graphic art. As a part of the hotel’s renewal, our experts have chosen artwork from the collection’s 450 pieces to compliment each of our refurbished rooms and selected pieces adorn our hallways, lobbies and also our new Upper Lounge.

Founded in 1986, Imprimo was the first graphic workshop in Finland to also operate as a graphic publisher, and it has worked with over 70 artists from Finland and around the world. Numerous contemporary Finnish painters and sculptors have included printmaking in their repertoire thanks to Imprimo.

You can find information about the Imprimo collection at our reception. The book, which tells the story of Imprimo collection and the artists involved, is also available for purchase from our reception.
